House Van Mitre were a noble family from the Draconis Combine, who were the noble rulers of the world Buckminster in the thirtieth century.[1][2]
History[edit]
Carlton Van Mitre was the Duke of Buckminster from at least 3025 to 3039, when his assassination was engineered by Loki and Rabid Fox operatives during the War of 3039, with the aim of causing political instability on a key target world of the Lyran Commonwealth and Federated Suns. This was achieved as the Duke's potential successors fought for position after his death.[2]
