A dedicated Federated Suns tank regiment, used to support BattleMech regimental formations for offensive and defensive actions.
History
Third Succession War
During the Third Succession War, First Prince Andrew Davion directed a series of counter-attacks against raids from Great Houses. This due to recent defeated mutinies of MechWarriors. One such raid was against the Federated Suns' world of Rio.[1]
The regiment was attached to the 15th Avalon Hussars in 2982 as part of the military offensive against invading Capellan forces on Rio.[2] The unit was involved in heavy fighting against Liao forces, and was victorious in repelling them from the world.
