The Second Alleghe Tank Regiment was a part of the militia forces defending the world of Alleghe within the Free Rasalhague Republic.[1]

History
Clan Invasion
In March 3050 Clan Wolf invaded Alleghe as part of the First Wave of attacks during Operation REVIVAL. Defending Alleghe at the time were the planetary militia - consisting of the Second and a sister regiment, the Fifth Alleghe Tank Regiment, as well as the First Alleghe Infantry Regiment - and a mercenary BattleMech battalion known as Skinner's Scimitars. The attacking forces - drawn from the Thirty-seventh Striker Cluster - fought the defenders in battles at Stensele's Ag-Center and the Old Bobly Spaceport and destroyed all of the defending forces but for a single company of the Scimitars, who managed to retreat to Rodigo.[1]
