Parent Command Sun Zhang MechWarrior Academy Cadre

The Second Sun Zhang Academy Cadre was one of the Sun Zhang MechWarrior Academy's prestigious cadre units. Cadets assigned to the unit are put to the ultimate test by seeing real combat. Like all Sun Zhang Cadres, the Second was a free-floating regiment with no supporting regiments attached.

History[edit]

Star League[edit]

In 2765, the Second Sun Zhang Academy Cadre was stationed on Rasalhague and considered a "Light" Regiment. The Second remained on Rasalhague until the beginning of the First Succession War.[1][2]

Succession Wars[edit]

First Succession War[edit]

The Second Sun Zhang Academy Cadre participated in the fighting along the Lyran Commonwealth border. The unit survived the deadly conflict and returned to their post on Rasalhague at the end of the war. They were reported to have taken 51% casualties.[3]

Second Succession War[edit]

The Second Sun Zhang Academy Cadre also fought in the Second Succession War starting out from their posting on Rasalhague. They had been restructured as a "Medium" Regiment.

At some time during the war, the Second was destroyed.[4]
