The Third Garrison Cluster was a Clan Nova Cat garrison unit.
History
During Operation Bulldog, the Third Garrison Cluster was among the Clan Nova Cat forces on jointly Nova Cat-Clan Smoke Jaguar held world of Avon. With Avon sitting on the leading edge of the Clan advance, honor demanded that the First and Third Garrison Clusters insist on live-fire Trials of Possession against the attacking SLDF troops, ultimately falling to the 4th Pesht Regulars and made abtakha by the newborn Second Star League. Joining the First Nova Cat Guards, the abtakha Third Star League Garrison Cluster launched an assault against the Galaxy Comand of the Jaguar's Beta Galaxy, unable to prevent the Jaguars from fleeing offworld, but acquitting itself well. Resuming it normal name after the conclusion of Bulldog, the Third Garrison Cluster would remain on Avon until the Combine-Ghost Bear War when Xi would contribute forces to the fighting against Clan Ghost Bear. With the upgrading and transformation of Xi Galaxy into a frontline Galaxy in response to its performance during the War, the Third Garrison Cluster was disbanded and its troops assigned to one of Xi's five new frontline clusters. [6]
