Nominally assigned to the Procyon Theater, 6 to 7 on Inner Sphere Clock, after the collapse of the Sarna March the ComGuard 6th Army were assigned to the Draconis Combine theaters, calling themselves Grim Defiance.

History

Relocated to the Albeiro and Irece prefectures after the liberation of those regions from Clan Smoke Jaguar, the Sixth Army was intended as a watchdog over the Nova Cats and Ghost Bears, neither of whom ComStar entirely trusted. Instead rogue DCMS units triggered a conflict Ghost Bears, with elements of the Sixth seeing action during the Combine-Ghost Bear War. [1]

After the beginning of the Jihad the ComGuard Armies were stretched too thin. To counteract this, the 7th-12th Armies were disbanded and used to reinforce the 1st-6th Armies. This gave each of the newly-reinforced Armies a full six Divisions. The 6th Army was one of the formations affected, receiving new reinforcements. The 6th Army is supposed to cover the Periphery nations and other minor powers.[2]

Officers

As of 3050, the Sixth was commanded by Precentor V Myke Trijullio.

As of 3067, the 6th Army was under the command of Precentor XII Daniel Mueller. Formerly in command of the 31st Division prior to Tukayyid, the authoritarian and no-nonsense Mueller took command of the remains of the Sixth after that battle.
