The Battle of Luthien, referred to by the Clans as Operation Dragonslayer, started on January 4th[1], saw the combined forces of Clans Smoke Jaguar and Nova Cat stage an assault against Luthien, capital world of the Draconis Combine. Aside from being one of the largest battles of the Clan Invasion and one of the few major defeats suffered by the Clans prior to the Battle of Tukayyid, the battle saw the first major co-operation between Houses Kurita and Davion to defeat the invaders, as well as the softening of Coordinator Takashi Kurita's Death to Mercenaries Order, thanks to the aid of the Wolf's Dragoons and Kell Hounds mercenary units.

Involved Units[2]
