History[edit]

As of April 3062 the Aegis-class heavy cruiser Blood Oath was a WarShip within the Clan Nova Cat touman and as such was serving the Second Star League as the SLS Blood Oath within the Vision Naval Star. Also serving in the Vision Naval Star were two sister ships to the Blood Oath, the SLS Bond and the SLS Promise.[2]

The Blood Oath was reported to have been one of seven Nova Cat WarShips lost during a Trial of Possession conducted against Clan Ghost Bear for control of the Leviathan-class battleship CGB Rasalhague in May 3067 in what became known as the Second Naval Battle of Alshain, or the Trial of Retribution.[1] It carried the DropShips Enlightenment's Truth, Star Wolf, Eviscerator and Thunder into this particular battle.[3]
