The Cloud Mountain was a Merchant-class JumpShip, most probably LAAF aligned.

History[edit]

The JumpShip witnessed the final WoB attack on Hesperus II in early 3070 and escaped to Caledonia to transmit the news.

The ship's captain described that the only Lyran WarShip, most probably the Fox Corvette Melissa Steiner, was facing two Word of Blake WarShips and a fleet of transports. They confirmed they had seen capital missile tracks during the last minutes of the attack, coming from both the WarShips and the DropShips (which they felt were indeed Pocket WarShips). LAAF aerospace forces were doing well, but his feeling was that they were not going to be able to turn the invasion around.[1]
