The Dark Star was a DropShip operated by the mercenary unit known as the Arcadians until the Dark Star was destroyed on Ningpo during Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE. The Arcadians took heavy losses in the fighting for Ningpo, and the Dark Star was destroyed during the Arcadians' retreat to Acamar in June or July 3068 after brutal fighting against both Hell's Black Aces and the 1st Taurian Lancers.[1]
