History
The Desert Wind was a mercenary cadre that fought against the Word of Blake in the liberation of Terra during the Jihad.
During the end of 3078 the unit lost his commander, which resulted in a general state of demoralization and reduced the unit to a loosely organized ad-hoc collection of vehicle crews.
Following the orbital bombardment of Cairo, as of 1 January 3079 the unit was assigned along Gannon's Cannons to figh mop-up operations in the hot zone around Cairo.[1][2]
