History
The commander worked as a freelancer and formed in 3059 this unit through intensive contacts with in the merc community. The unit is known for deep raids and rescue mission in enemy territory. The best example for their skills was the rescue of Dr. R. Raisley from Acamar in 3065. The WoB sought to catch and convert this scientist to use his work for their own purposes. At the moment the Dropship Irregulars provide security and work as bodyguard for the doctor.
The unit was destroyed by Word of Blake forces through orbital bombardement on Bethel on or shortly before 25 November 3070, just after their commanding officer, Colonel Medron Pryde, had been killed in 'Mech-to-'Mech combat. Dr. Raisley was presumed missing, not dead, after the attack on Bethel .
Officer
Colonel Medron Pryde was a charismatic leader and skilled soldier.
Tactic
They use unorthodox tactics to accomplish thier missions. Ambushes and traps were common tactics. In one case, it was reported that claymore mines were placed under the latrine of the enemy.

The unit has enough skilled personal to maintains their machines and have sufficient transport assets on their side
