Franklin Sakamoto was the illegitimate son of Theodore Kurita and ISF agent Kathleen Palmer. During his time with the 1st Somerset Strikers he gets caught up in an attempted coup against Kurita by the Black Dragon Society against his will. The plot fails, and Franklin renounces his claim to the Draconis throne to rejoin the Strikers.
