Gael's Grinders

History

Raised in 3055 through efforts of Louise Holley, the unit supported the First and Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry in the capture of Hsien during Operation Guerrero. The Grinders were left as garrison force on the planet.

The unit faced with a scandal later in its deployement on Hsien. They were accused of turing the entire command into spy agency, With its "agents" in a campaign of "bedside diplomacy" that resulted in peace from 3058 to 3064.

This changed in 3064, when a Word of Blake Level III unit accompanied by the Hsien Hotheads landed on the planet. The pro-Capellan/Pro-FedSun factions make a temporary truce and hired the Always Faithful, try broker a peace. The arrival of the Always Faithful had lead to the unit sidelined from being a military faction.

The unit as of 3067 remained on planet, being painted up in Liao green colors. The Captain Holley, recently fired one of her 'Mechwarriors when it became public of the warrior being wanted for running prostitution ring. Holly's shaded past has been every growing problem, with scandle after scandle impacting the unit's reputation.
