Griffon Meshune was an officer in the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery. He served with the prestigious Otomo BattleMech regiment, rising to command of that military unit.

Character History[edit]

As of 3058, Meshune held the rank of Chu-sa and commanded the Otomo's second battalion. He was noted as a supporter of Theodore Kurita's reforms of bushido.[2]

Following the attempted assassination of Coordinator Kurita, Meshune was promoted to Tai-sa and given command of the Otomo.[3]

Meshune was killed during the joint Second Sword of Light (Kokuryu-kai)/Sathen's Snipers assault of the Imperial Palace's Sanethia Kurita Parade Grounds on Luthien.[1]
