Template:InfoBoxMercUnit The Hard Riders were a 'Mech mercenary unit of unspecified size and assigned to defend the city of Fasolht on the Federated Suns world of Quentin as of mid-3023, when Wolf's Dragoons attacked at the tip of a Draconis Combine force. The Hard Riders and elements of the Snake Stompers in Fasolht were ordered on a flanking maneuver, but the mercenaries agreed that it was a diversion and that the real attack would come against Fasolht.

Together with the armor and APCs of the Fasolht Defense Team the Hard Riders moved out of the Steel Valley (where the Independence Weaponry complex is located).

The recalcitrant mercenaries would be proven right when the 2nd Sword of Light assaulted the city, but it was noted that the defenders suffered heavily.[1] The specific fate of the Hard Riders was not mentioned.
