Hichi Kanuchiwan was an officer in the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery.[1]

History

Hichi Kanuchiwan was an officer in the DCMS and had risen to the rank of General during the Third Succession War. Kanuchiwan was serving as the Commanding Officer of the Fifth Rasalhague Regulars by 3025,[2] and was still in command when the Federated Suns and Lyran Commonwealth started the Fourth Succession War. When the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces dispatched the Nineteenth Arcturan Guards to capture the Jabuka system in the opening wave of Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG, the Commanding Officer of the Nineteenth, Leutnant-Colonel Yvonne Deltra, won a minor skirmish against the Fifth, prompting an extreme response from General Kanuchiwan; shocked and shamed by his defeat at the hands of a Lyran woman, Kanuchiwan committed seppuku.[1]

With Kanuchiwan dead, command of the Fifth fell to his executive officer. Unfortunately for the Fifth, Kanuchiwan's XO was a poor tactician, and within a week the Fifth had been forced to retreat off-world by the Nineteenth.[1]
