The Taurian Defense Force's III Corps is primarily assigned to defend the approaches to the Hyades Cluster from both the Federated Suns and Capellan Confederation.

History
III Corps only consisted of two regiments in 3067.[1] The III Corps units were strong supporters of Protector Grover Shraplen. Their position in the Pleiades Cluster made some units difficult to resupply.[2]
The III Corps came through Operation MATADOR in relatively good shape. By 3145 they were stationed on several former Federated Suns worlds.[3]
Officers
The commander of the III Corps from 3064 to 3067 is Senior Marshal Boris Tharn, he is aided by Colonel Victor Sharpe.[4][5]
In 3145 the III Corps is commanded by Senior Marshal Cecil Jackson and aided by Colonel Stella Stone.[6]
