It should be noted that different years have been given for the 3011/3012 raid on Castor conducted by Snord's Irregulars and the Kell Hounds. The history section of the ''Kell Hounds'' sourcebook is ambiguous, noting on p. 5 that the raid was planned in 3011 and then narrating how Snord's Irregulars and the Kell Hounds approached Castor from two directions around 7 June, without stating a year. On page 7, however, it is narrated that the Kell Hounds only returned from the mission in the fall of 3012. In the sourcebook's scenario section, the two scenarios referring to the Clinton battle on pp. 30–31 ("Lowering the Boom") and 56 ("Delta Romeo") are both dated 15 June 3012. Similarly, Capt. Captain Jonathan Taylor was a MechWarrior in the 30th Marik Militia and 13th Marik Militia during the early to mid 31st century.[1][2]

History[edit]

In 3011, then Sergeant Jonathan Taylor was with the 30th Marik Militia on Castor when his unit was attacked by the Snord's Irregulars and the Kell Hounds.[1][2]

In May 3029, now Captain Jonathan Taylor's Company from the 13th Marik Militia was sent to the world of Bordon to defend its capital city of Frankenmuth. There his unit once again engaged Cranston Snord and his Irregulars where he lost an arm to one of Cranston's Long-Range Missile attacks.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

Jonathan Taylor piloted a Centurion BattleMech.[3][2]

Notes[edit]

  • It should be noted that different years have been given for the 3011/3012 raid on Castor conducted by Snord's Irregulars and the Kell Hounds. The history section of the Kell Hounds sourcebook is ambiguous, noting on p. Taylor states he fought the Kell Hounds and Snord's Irregulars on Clinton in 3012.[1] When Lowering the Boom was republished via BattleCorps in 2008 the timestamp was changed to 7 June 3011; whilst this seems to be an oversight based on p. 5 of the Kell Hounds sourcebook, the reprinted BattleCorps scenario is the more recent publication, and the dates in that source have been given primacy in this article.
  • Originally, it was noted that the 13th Marik Militia was involved during the fighting on Castor in 3011/3012. But, that was later retconned to have the 30th Marik Militia defending the planet. So Jonathan Taylor was considered to have served in both units for the purposes of this article.
