Lone Star Regiment

History

Formed 2825 from former SLDF and Rim Worlds military personal on Somerset and retreat in face of and Lyran attack to the DCMS. The command leave the Draconis Combine when the Coordinator command "Death to Mercenaries" after 200 years of service. For the next 20 years fought of raiders from the CCAF in name of the Federated Suns. From 3050 until now they were employed by the TDF. At the moment the unit recovers from a battle with the Redfield's Renegades. As a result they gain a new DropShip.

In 3067 the command changed to the son of the former commander after the troops have no trust in the decision of the current CO. The WoB were their next employer, how sweeten their new contract with upgrades and spare parts for the damaged unit. The mercs support the operation on Epsilon Eridani. After that assignment they were loaned to the Taurians as a gift to enforce the greep of the Pleiades Cluster.

Officer

Colonel Meschach Granger take is family legacy after service with the AFFC (Robinson Rangers).

Tactics

This unit is an expert in defensive engagements.

The unit can count on an Invader-class JumpShip + 4 DropShips (3 Overlord-class + 1 Colossus-class). Most repairs can done by the techs.
