Description
Made as the rebuild of the Timber Wolf, the Mad Cat Mark II solves the disadvantage of the Timber Wolf by adding jump jets. It was upgraded to 90 tons, bringing it up to the assault class. This was made at the cost of decreased speed. It can move up to 68 kph, making it fast for its weight. Clan Diamond Shark has apparently sold many of these 'Mechs to Inner Sphere powers such as the Draconis Combine and Federated Commonwealth, tipping their hand concerning their mercantile ambitions.
Armaments
The Mad Cat MK II's primary weapons are a pair of Gauss Rifles, each of which can strip off a ton of armor at six hundred and thirty meters. This was supported by two LRM 10s which gave it indirect fire capability. For short range combat, it has four ER Medium Lasers which it can bring down upon its enemy.
