History
Marlette is a Davion frontier world on their border with the Capellan Confederation. It is habitable, with a breathable atmosphere, water and vegetation.
The defenses of Marlette include the ostensibly impregnable Fort Bourgogne. It was successfully raided by forces from McCarron's Armored Cavalry twice, first in 3022 and again in 3044, after being rebuilt and despite having its defenses improved. To advance on the fortress, the attackers had to cross the Bern river at the narrow Stannic Bridge, a lostech artefact spanning three miles. Archibald McCarron expressly forbid his men to destroy the bridge.
A major space port is located at the city of Staval.
