The Nightcrawlers were formed from soldiers from Bad Dream mercenary unit, to be precise the Armor unit Nightcrawlers and two companies of 'Mechs. The Nightcrawlers were wiped out in the Blakist blitz on Galatea in 3072, and Colonel Henry Bortman reportedly gloated about the death of his former soldiers.[1]
