Choose one of your 'Mechs with Jump. Roll a die. 1-2: That 'Mech receives 1 damage; return Risky Combat Jump to your hand after the mission. 3-6: That 'Mech gets +3 attack; prevent up to 2 damage to that 'Mech.

It's not so much the jumping that's risky, it's coming down in a hot LZ that can give you fits.
