First produced in 2555, this Star League era design was "very popular" and remained in service with House Steiner after the fall of the Star League. The Introductory Level technology 'Mech was 65 tons and moved like a Panther. It relied on dual AC/2s, MLs and LRM-5s for weaponry. It is 2 tons overweight.

An ancient long-range fire support design by Technicron Manufacturing, only 5% remain in operation. Similar to a Rifleman with the movement profile of a Panther, the arms paired an AC/2 with a medium laser, with an LRM-5 in each side torso. A variant sacrifices the jump jets, some armor, and extra heat sinks to mount larger missile racks. The jump jets were not included in the stats, producing a 'Mech two tons underweight, two tons overweight with the jump jets included.
