Formation[edit]
The V Triarii Protectors (also known as the Fifth Triarii), are the garrison unit for Prefecture V. Currently the Fifth isn't on its garrison world, but is instead taking part in a six month training exercise.[2]
In 3085 the V Triarii is stationed on Epsilon Eridani in Prefecture X of the Republic of the Sphere.[3]
Blackout[edit]
After the blackout of 3132 the Fifth were stationed on Liao in order to try and prevent a rebellion from the pro-Capellan elements of the populace.
After the Blackout the Capellan Confederation sent troops into the Republic. The Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry regiment landed on Liao and faced the garrisoning troops.
