The Verses was a Leopard-class DropShip (Pocket WarShip variant). It was part of a Word of Blake flotilla defending the crippled WarShip Immortal Spirit and the Newgrange-class Yardship Blake's Mercy that had been sent to repair it at a pirate jump point in the Coventry system.
They came under attack by Lyran Alliance and Clan Jade Falcon forces on 16 March 3074, and it was reported that the Jade Falcon vessels "tore apart" the defending Pocket WarShips. Although the wording is ultimately unclear, it strongly suggests that the Verses was destroyed.[1]
