The 149th Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of LXXII Corps, Seventeenth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[1] The 149th patrolled the lightly inhabited and lightly pirated rimward systems of the Magistracy of Canopus.[2]
The 149th was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 as part of the redeployment effort to fight the Periphery Uprising. The unit survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment, the 149th would have been composed of light to medium vehicles, with at least two recon companies comprising BattleMechs and vehicles designed for information gathering, as well as other regular 'Mechs.[3]
