History[edit]

In late 3080s, Clan Hell's Horses was strugged with the rebuilding its touman. The invasion of Clan Wolf's OZ and their engagements during the Jihad against the Word of Blake in the last 2 decades, had left them with very limited resources to take advantage of. Star Colonel Domnall Seidman of the 666th Mechanized Assault presented a bold proposal of what came to be known as the "Mongol Doctrine", to the Clan's Council. In order to showcase this new doctrine the First Horde Cluster was formed and Seidman was given command.[1]

Almost immediately with successes against both the Jade Falcons and the Wolves, the Horses expanded this doctrine into a larger scale. With the formation of Fire Horse Galaxy, and with the Horde as its foremost unit, the Horses enjoyed many successful offensives in the early 3100s.[1]

By 3150, Horde Clusters had been doubled in size.[3]
