The Twenty-seventh Royal CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of LXIV Corps, Eighteenth Army to the Periphery Military Region.[2] The Twenty-seventh was stationed on Port Krin, a world that was to be the base of operations for future expansion into the Periphery. The Twenty-seventh garrisoned many Terran Hegemony and Department of Mega-Engineering facilities on the world.[1]
The Twenty-seventh was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF CAAN regiment, the Twenty-seventh was composed of BattleMechs, tanks, hovercraft, fighters, naval vessels, and marines.[3]
