Ballard-Dukempic Foods was a food conglomerate active during the Dark Age era.[2]

During the Star League era, Dukempic Foods was famous throughout the Star League for exotic foods, with company representatives visiting virtually every world of the Inner Sphere and Periphery looking new plant or animals to create the next trendy foodstuff. The company had a massive and exceptionally well-equipped exobiology department located near its company headquarters on Keid, second only to the research facilities of the Star League Member States which often reached out to Dukempic for assistance. Key to the success and timeliness of Dukempic's efforts was the company's decision to open up the temporary exobiology research stations it established on colony worlds to the public. This provided colonies with prompt access to researchers to analyze unknown alien creatures, albeit for a fee, while at the same time allowing Dukempic to often be among the first parties to learn of these discoveries with many of is best-selling food items being uncovered in this way.[1]
Like many Star League companies Dukempic Food was destroyed and all its record were believed lost following the Star League Civil War and the start of the Succession Wars, until archaeologists stumbled upon duplicated backup copies of the company's records were found at a secondary facilty on Terra Firma in the 29th century. This rediscovery proved a blessing during the war-torn Succession Wars era in providing food sources for increasingly cutoff marginal worlds.[1] By the era of the Republic of the Sphere, the revitalized company, now trading under the Ballard-Dukempic Foods name had its headquarters on Keid.[2]
While stationed on the-Marian Hegemony held Paulinus, the Quinta Cohors of the II Legio would uncover a Dukempic Foods Flavor Research Center while responding to rumors of LosTech in 3070.[3] [4]
