Overview[edit]
A number of ammunition and tank manufacturing plants located on Elnath were targets of repeated Free Worlds League raids, seriously disrupting the production schedules. The Blackwind Lancers had garrison duty on the planet, but had been taking considerable damage by the FWL raiders. The Second McCarron's Armored Cavalry commanded by Colonel Marcus Barton was sent in to relieve the Lancers, and Elnath was used as the staging area for Barton's later successful strike against Marik forces in Ohrensen that would end the raids against Elnath.[1]
