Sergeant Brian "Top" Hustcarle was the commander of the Fifth Company, Third Donegal Infantry Brigade, 3rd Donegal Guards as of 3071.[1]

FedCom Civil War[edit]
During the FedCom Civil War, Hustcarle was a Loyalist who sided with Katherine Steiner-Davion on the basis of his devotion to the Lyran state, something that even after the war he occasionally decided to defend in fistfights.[1]
Word of Blake Jihad[edit]
Hustcarle led a successful defense of the Lyran flank on Donegal during their initial landings in 3071, as part of the attempted liberation of that world from the Word of Blake. Hustcarle was part of two Rottweiler squads which were deployed to defend against Blakist counter-attacks, and managed to hold off a thrust from a Blakist Shadow Division despite taking over 50% losses, including destroying a Nexus and Firefly.[1]
Battle Armor[edit]
Hustcarle was known to pilot a suit of Rottweiler medium battle armor.[1]
