Carl Bert-Gregg was the commanding officer of the Fourth Alliance Guards in 3049.[1]

Bert-Gregg was a professional soldier, one with a dislike of politics who avoided choosing sides in the dispute between the Lyran Alliance and Federated Commonwealth. He also viewed ComStar as treacherous manipulators and lost respect for Victor Ian Steiner-Davion when he was posted as Precentor Martial.[1]
