Star Colonel Danielle Cobb was the commander of Clan Hell's Horses's Twenty Second Mechanized Assault Cluster, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Cobb Bloodhouse, from at least 3145 to 3150.[1][2]

Cobb, with the Thirtieth Mechanized Strike Cluster, was based on New Caledonia as of 3145.[1] In December 3150 Cobb was ordered to take the Twenty Second to Gustrell, the former capital of the Republic of the Barrens, to respond to incursions by the New Oberon Confederation. Pushing the Oberon pirates out of the city of Sarah on Gustrell while facing surprisingly skilled resistance, Cobb was challenged outside of the Republic Senate Hall to a dual, in accordance with Clan protocols by a MechWarrior in a black and red Marauder. Nearing defeat by the MechWarrior, who was unusually well versed in Clan tactics and customs, Cobb was only saved by the collapse of a nearby office tower. When the dust cleared, the Marauder had disappeared, leaving Cobb and her crippled 'Mech to fight another day.[2]

While the identity of the Marauder pilot was unknown to Cobb, it was likely Abdoun Ricol, whose background serving in the Rasalhague Dominion's Warrior Caste and Marauder BattleMech called Akaryōshi fit the description of Cobb's opponent.[3]
