The Fourth Alshain Regulars was a Draconis Combine BattleMech Regiment.
History[edit]
The Fourth Alshain Regulars were founded sometime between 3035 and 3039[1] and did not see action during the War of 3039, instead serving in garrison duty on Rubigen and Buckminster.[3]
The Fourth later fought against Clan Ghost Bear's First Bear Guards on Rubigen in April 3052 during the Clan Invasion. The Fourth attempted to attack the Ghost Bear DropShips, but the Fourth Alshain Aerospace Wing was easily brushed aside. The ground forces engaged in a hit-and-run fight against the Bears for three weeks, notably using holographic projections as decoys during the initial phase of the fighting, before Star Colonel Justin Gurdel ordered heat sensors be used to differentiate and then sent headhunter squads after Tai-sa Boris Timsjek. The squads could not find the Tai-sa, and the First Bear could not pin down the Fourth, leading the Ghost Bears on a chase for the better part of a month. Tai-sa Timsjek decided to withdraw his surviving soldiers off-world rather than continue to lose warriors in an ineffective delaying action. Less than a battalion of the Fourth succeeded in escaping.[4]
At some point between 3054 and 3058 the battalion was merged with two other surviving battalions of Alshain Regulars (one apiece from the Third and Seventh regiments) to form the Fourteenth Alshain Avengers.[2]

Color Scheme and Insignia[edit]
The Alshain Regulars' parade color scheme is mentioned in passing. The units were known to use white and various greys with a vibrant jade green. There is no official pattern and pilots are allowed to customize in camo and colored paneling schemes. Murals or other personal flourishes are observed.[9][10]
