Gertrude Dana'La was a MechWarrior during the Clans' Golden Century.[1]

Gertrude Dana'La was a warrior and rival to Rudolph van Belkum, a Clan Mongoose MechWarrior who utilized rush tactics in conjunction with inferno missiles and large energy weapons to defeat her on two different occasions. During their third battle, Gertrude utilized inferno missiles of her own to detonate van Belkum's ammunition. This crippled his 'Mech and left him helpless while the victorious Dana'La killed him.[1]
