Haines Keebler was a MechWarrior of Waco Rangers.[1]

History[edit]

Haines Keebler was a first-generation member of Waco Rangers. In 3008, he fought at the battle of New Aragon against Wolf's Dragoons in a recon lance commanded by John Waco. On the morning of 11 April, he was on guard and conferred with Waco, pointing out to him the weak point of the line they were holding, El Diablo Pass, and asking him to warn his father, the units' commander, about the risk it presented. He had known Waco for about a year and both shared a respectful relationship.

When Zeta Battalion stormed the pass, Waco's lance fought them until he was downed. Keebler made an attempted to rescue him, but a Zeta Stalker moved to engage him and, without seeing Waco, stepped over him, killing him.

On 8 May, on Hunan, after the Dragoons had driven the Capellan forces from New Aragon, Keebler talked with another survivor of his lance. The rest of Waco Rangers had sworn revenge for John Waco's death, taking a Death Oath, but Haines, who blamed himself for his lieutenant's death, refused to do so.[1]

Physical Description[edit]

Haines Keebler was a man two meters tall, but scrawny, with the shaved head and brown eyes.[1]
