Harry Volre was the executive officer of the Eighth Rasalhague Regulars at the beginning of the Ronin War.

When Tai-shu Marcus Kurita refused to accept the establishment of the Free Rasalhague Republic in March 3034, he went rogue and traveled to the Predlitz system along with the Eighth Rasalhague Regulars and Twelfth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre. The remnants of the Eighth and Twelfth that were left behind scattered into the countryside surrounding the capital city Reykjavik and its spaceport.[2] They divided up into three guerilla armies, one of which was lead by Harry Volre.[1]
Under the cover of a massive rain squall on the night of May 11, Chu-sa Volre and his forces, consisting of a BattleMech lance and a company of vehicles, attempted a blitzing attack on the capital and had made it in two kilometers through the old industrial sector before being spotted. They soon found themselves surrounded by a heavy company of First Tyr 'Mechs and a stray shot from a PPC disintegrated Volre's cockpit. The group immediately surrendered.[1]
