Prior to the FedCom Civil War several graduates of the Kilbourne Academy Training Battalion were investigated by DMI for conspiracy and sedition. Several of these members were found guilty of other, unrelated charges, but the investigation's scope increased to include the battalion when several other graduates of the Kilbourne Academy were found to be part of anti-Davion cells throughout the Outback.[1]
Civil War[edit]
The Kilbourne Training Battalion was disarmed by Allied forces, but later rearmed and served to defend the Periphery border.[2]

Tactics[edit]
Located on the same world as the Kilbourne DMM, cadets of the Kilbourne Training Battalion are frequently assigned to serve with the March Militia unit in antipiracy operations. The Kilbourne DMM also serves as an opposition force for the cadets, training them in combined-arms tactics.[1]
