Mark earned his Bloodname as a warrior before moving on to the merchant caste.[1]
In April 3067, Mark, accompanied by Star Captain Anna Borghev, attempted to sell Ha Otokos to the Hanseatic League. For marketing, he arranged a live-fire exercise with Regional Defense Force 4 on Riga. Hansa forces attempted to steal the demonstration 'Mech instead, taking advantage of an oncoming volcanic eruption, but Mark negotiated his way out alive and with his 'Mech.[1]
