The Northstar Irregulars were a mercenary unit. In 3022, they conducted two raids in the employ of Free Worlds League noble Ezra Durrant, with assistance from two lances of other mercenaries. An April raid on Demeter went smoothly, the Irregulars defeating the Demeter Militia without any losses. The September raid on Bithinia was less successful: the Irregulars could not reach their target, a ballistics plant, and lost three of their four 'Mechs to the local Capellan Reserves.[1]
