Description[edit]
A descendant of the traditional Terran technical, an Outrider is a small two-person wheeled vehicle with a weapon mounted on a flat back platform. The driver and gunner stay in the passenger compartment until the vehicle is in position for combat, at which point they dismount to crew the mounted weapon.[2] Tortuga Prime's Vengeance Incorporated builds custom Outriders for pirates and warlords.[3]
Equipment and Capabilities[edit]
The most common Outrider variant carries a Support Machine Gun on a Pintle Mount, along with ammunition. It is also capable of carrying cargo. As well, Outriders feature chassis modificiations for off-road use.[2]
Variants[edit]
Other Outrider variants replace the machine gun with a different support weapon. These are known to include, but are not limited to, assault lasers, grenade launchers, and single-shot missile launchers.[2]
