The Longest Day is a serialized novella in six parts by Jason Schmetzer that was first published online on BattleCorps between 30 August and 5 October 2014.
The story was spun out of a brief three-sentence description of the conquest of Virentofta from the Invading Clans sourcebook, page 64 and details the demise of the Seventh Hell's Brigade mercenary unit.
