Zane "The Dreamer" Ving was a member of the Fourth Defenders of Andurien during the Fourth Succession War.[1][2][3]

While not cut out for leadership roles, Ving was an excellent scout pilot[1] who managed to take down a Vindicator BattleMech, during the Fourth Defenders of Andurien advance into the Capellan Confederation in the Fourth Succession War.[2][3]
Philosophical and/or political views[edit]
Ving doesn’t follow any one particular ideology or faith, but rather absorbs philosophies and beliefs from many different sources such as Plato, Confucius, Aleksandr Kerensky and even Stefan Amaris.[2][3]
BattleMech[edit]
Ving was known to pilot a Hermes II BattleMech, nicknamed "Plato", painted in light brown which he covered in sayings and quotes from many famous philosophers.[2][3][1]
