Sohler participated in the Battle of Misery in 3028, and died during the fighting.[1]
BattleMech
Sohler was known to pilot a Hermes II BattleMech, which was salvaged by the Dragoons after his death on Misery.[1]
Dragoon techs worked on this 'Mech for two months after Sohler's death, to modify it to carry sophisticated electronics and communications gear, so that it could be used by Jaime Wolf's communications officer William Cameron after Cameron lost his own Cyclops.[2]
