The House Stirling was a martial family of the Northwind Highlanders.

History[edit]

Origins[edit]

House Stirling was one from Terra, which emigrated to Northwind, joining the Northwind Highlanders. They were part of the Highlanders as long as House Casey.

Clan Invasion[edit]

Traditionally MechWarriors, they rose to some prominence during the Clan Invasion Era, as Andrea Stirling became commander of one of the Highlander regiments, Stirling's Fusiliers and later helped to create the Republic of the Sphere.[1]

Dark Age[edit]

During the Battle of Northwind , Maeve Stirling, Andrea's grandaughter, was a Knight of the Republic, fighting in the battle and later the Battle of Terra. At the dawn of the IlClan Era, with the Republic's disappearance, she rejoined the Highlanders.[2][3]
