Bounty Hunter
The Bounty Hunter was a mysterious figure whom first appeared in the late 2900s and wore a unique PA(L) (Power Armor - Light) suit. He (or she) initially only took contracts on notorious criminals, who were more often than not brought back dead.
General Description
Always a MechWarrior, the Bounty Hunter usually piloted a Marauder which was originally Natasha Kerensky's. Further, Natasha's signature Warhammer was said to be the Bounty Hunter's original 'Mech.[citation needed] Later he was seen piloing a Marauder II and a Mad Cat. His 'Mechs were always painted a bright green with currency symbols painted on it and were a feared sight on the battlefield.
The Bounty Hunter had been active for close to a century, leading to speculation that the PA(L) suit, 'Mech, and mythos were passed from parent to child or from person to person via the death of the former. The only known people to assume the Bounty Hunter identity were Michi Noketsuna and Vic Travers, who inherited the equipment, as well as an ancient book refered to as "the tradition".[1]
The "Bounty Hunter" legend was the topic of a hero team-style tri-vid show. This led to greater fame for the legendary character.
Jihad
In late 3067 he rescued or possibly kidnapped Kai Allard-Liao, possibly in service to Duke George Hasek of the Federated Suns just prior to the Duke's assault against the Capellan Confederation. Allard-Liao was later "rescued" by the Death Commandos during the Capellan counterattack.
Notes
Immediately prior to taking Natasha Kerensky's Marauder, the Bounty Hunter was apparently piloting a Griffin.[2]
