- January - Reports from Mars getting back to Terra.
- July - Takayoshi Fuchida and Thomas Kearny begin publishing papers on hyperdimensional motion within subatomic particles.
- During their work at Stanford University on the prototype fusion reactor, Fuchida and Kearny notice anomalies inconsistent with the known laws of physics. These observations lead to the publishing of their paper: "What Happened to the Universe When Einstein Wasn't Looking?" in the September issue of The WA Journal of Theoretical Physics.
- AS Columbia becomes the fourth ship of the Altair class transports to launch, joining the AS Altair and AS Procyon.
- June - The prototype of fusion reactor is ready.
