Overview
The Two Hundred Eighteenth Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, of the Periphery Military Region. They formed a battle group with the 259th Battle and 223rd Hussar Regiments and were stationed on Carlisle in 2765.[1]
Later they moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[2]. The 218th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Hussar regiment the 218th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[3]
